MFT Sketch Challenge 373 Guest Designer

Hello! Here comes another card as MFT Challenge Guest Designer for February! This week's sketch inspired me so much, I couldn't stop after one card. This is the sketch:

And here are two takes on it:

For the first card, I used the beautiful set Splendid Swans, the Die-namics Snow Drifts Cover Up and the Die-namics Zig Zag Stitched Circle STAX. The panel is inked with Summer Splash Dye Ink and the images are colored with Copics. The sentiment is heat-embossed using white embossing powder.

On the second card, I die-cut the gorgeous Die-namics Magical Mandala from white cardstock. I lay it back into the panel and adhered it. The hello is die-cut from a piece of watercolored paper and the sentiment from Sending a Smile is heat-embossed again.

It has been so much fun creating these cards, I hope you'll join us with your take on the sketch! Find all the details here on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello and welcome to the Spellbinders Blog Hop! I am honored to be joining an amazing list of designers today! You will find plenty of inspiration featuring new Stephanie Low & Die D-Lites products on your way. You should have arrived from the wonderful Yana Smakula, if you would like to start the Blog Hop from the beginning, please go to the Spellbinders Blog.

I will start with my projects and will tell you about all the fun details on the prizes at the end of this post. This is what I came up with for today:

You have already seen this llama in the banner and I couldn't resist using it, too! I think it's hilarious :) I first created my background on a panel of white cardstock, masking off a sky and a ground and inking it with an ink blending tool. Then I die-cut all the elements from white cardstock and colored them with Copics and an ink blending tool.

Products used for the Llama card:

I even have a second card for today, all girly and cute:

Here I used the adorable panda dies. First, I created the watercolor background, applying wet watercolors with a piece of foil. After I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it. Now I die-cut the elements to build my panda, colored it with Copics, assembled it and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added sequins for some bling.

Product used for the panda card: Die D-Lites Build a Panda Etched Dies

These dies are the cutest, don't you agree? Find them all here. Of course, there can't be a blog hop without prizes! Hello and welcome to the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop celebrating Love & Friendship! You should have arrived from the wonderful Cheiron Brandon, if you would like to start the blog hop from the beginning, please go here to the Winnie & Walter Blog.

Without further ado, here comes my card for today's event:

I first die-cut the Cover Model: Do You See What I See? from thick white cardstock and adhered it to the card base. Now I created a colorful watercolor background and die-cut the In a Word: Friend Cutaway from it. I layered it with a word die-cut from fun foam and adhered it. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Parentville onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. To finish the card off, I added matching sequins.

I hope you like my project for the blog hop! Now to all the fun details! Of course, there are prizes :)
There will be 4 winners picked at random from the entire blog hop which will each receive $40 credit to the Winnie & Walter Shop! Please leave your comments before February 28th, 11:59 p.m. CST. And now be sure to hop to the fabulous Amy Tsuruta.
